Saturday, October 19 at 10:00 AM: Cemetery Tour
Leominster historian and author Mark Bodanza will lead a tour of Evergreen Cemetery. Gather near the Haws Memorial Chapel. The tour involves about a half mile of walking, and is free.

Tuesday, October 21 at 7:00 PM: History Talk at No. 6 Schoolhouse
The one-room schoolhouse at the corner of Pleasant and Wachusett streets will host historian Mark Bodanza for a history talk. Experience Leominster’s only remaining one-room schoolhouse, a warm woodstove, seasonal refreshments.

Saturday, November 2, 1:00-4:00 PM
Visit the Drake House, homestead of local abolitionists Frances and Jonathan Drake. Mark Bodanza will tell the story of this important landmark. The Drake House is located at 21 Franklin Street in Leominster.

Saturday, December 14, 1:00-4:00 PM
The ever-popular Drake House Holiday tour includes history by Mark Bodanza, Mayor Dean Mazzarella’s roasted chestnuts, hot beverages and homemade baked goods. Holiday greenery for sale to benefit the mayor’s heating program.
